He was among the first to drop planetside to secure a forward operating base forty klicks north of The Four Cities in a small but dense forest known as Yuolor's Grove. The group encountered strong resistance from Kerr's Intruders, House Liao's premier assault regiment, but ultimately met their objectives.[1]
Garner noticed that the ECMs utilized by the Capellan Ravens were screening their numbers. He also reported encountering a then-relatively new Charger variant, having been badly damaged by a shot from an Autocannon/20.[1]
