Colonel Michael Lawhorn was double-crossed by his Lyran employer and killed in action on Kentares in May of 3063. Command of the unit was passed on to Eric McClair.
McClair and his lancemates nearly killed Duke Ian Dresari and eliminated three of his closest supporters.
Payback
The Legion took revenge on their former Lyran employer, Major Clarissa Dupree, by hunting her down and wiping out the entire Lyran garrison on Voltrat III. The Legion subsequently made the planet their base of operations.
