Captain Symerious Blade was the commander of the Crazy Eights as of 3058.[1][2]

History[edit]

Blade fought in the Battle of Coventry against Clan Jade Falcon as part of the Coventry Expeditionary Force (CEF). While Blade didn't share the Waco Rangers' grudge against the Wolf's Dragoons, he was happy to follow the lead of their Colonel Wayne Rogers.[2] This resulted in Blade and his Crazy Eights joining the Waco Rangers on 21 April 3058 in their attempt to flank the Jade Falcon forces via the Dales Highlands on Coventry, which blundered into a Jade Falcon ambush.[3] The Rangers and Crazy Eights suffered heavy casualties in this battle, but Blade was one who managed to pull back towards the 10th Skye Rangers under the command of Hauptmann Caradoc Trevena, who fought a rear-guard action to aid the mercenaries' retreat.[4]

BattleMech[edit]

Blade was known to pilot a CRD-5M Crusader BattleMech.[1]
