Star Colonel Justin Gurdel was the commander of the First Bear Guards Cluster ("The Rage") from least 3048 to 3067.[1][2][3]

Gurdel was the commander of the First Bear Guards prior to Operation REVIVAL, but command of his Cluster was taken over by Khan Nornian Tseng and saKhan Ursula Jorgensson during the Trials against Clan Wolf immediately prior to the invasion in an effort to humiliate Ulric Kerensky. Following both Khans' deaths at the hands of Ulric Kerensky, Justin Gurdel resumed command of the First Bear Guards, retaining his role until at least 3067.[1][2][3]
