Planetary Info

Hastur was a member of the Magistracy of Canopus when a Star League Defense Force task force under the command of Captain-General Marion Marik was assigned to conquer the Magistracy of Canopus in 2577. New Abilene was targetted by the SLDF in 2583 following diastrous ambush at Thurrock, which destroyed almost the entire Canopian navy. Hastur was conquered quickly by VII Corps' 402nd Independent Regiment with support from the 3rd Marik Militia, with only a token resistance offered by forces on the planet before surrender.[3][20]

Hastur would be occupied by the SLDF for the remainder of the war; once the Reunification War ended, a number of Magistracy worlds were annexed by the Free Worlds League including several nearby, but Hastur remained a part of the Magistracy.[3][4]

Notes

Hastur is located near Zathras and Thurrock and vanished from maps during the Succession Wars.[1][10][11]
