Melissa Auburn was a Lyran Commonwealth historian and author of The Black Widow: In Memoriam, a book that would top best seller lists for over a year.[1] The book's subject was Natasha Kerensky, the feared and respected 'Black Widow', who had died in combat in late 3057.
Notes
- Melissa Auburn is probably one of historian Misha Auburn's seven younger siblings who have not been named, and in that case would be one of Thelos Auburn's daughters; incidentally, only Misha Auburn was said to have any interest in history or politics, suggesting that Melissa Auburn, despite authoring a book about the 'Black Widow', could neither be considered a historian nor a politician.[2] Melissa Auburn may have been named after Melissa Steiner, who was born in 3010 and thus a year younger than Misha Auburn. (Thelos Auburn and later his oldest daughter Misha Auburn served as House Steiner's official court historians in their respective times.)
