Overview

The Two Hundred Seventy-ninth Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[1]The 279th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]

Composition

As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 279th would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[2]
