Unit Description
The 282nd Division was a ComStar Combined-Arms[1] Military Formation which served in the ComGuard's 10th Army.
History
Early Unit History
Little known about the unit's history until it and rest of the ComGuard appeared in 3030s. The unit was station up to 3050 on Tharkad in ComStar's Rigel Kent Theater.[2]
Clan Invasion
The 282nd was deployed with rest of the 10th Army to Tukayyid to fight Trial of Possession for Terra in May 3052 and temporary end the Clan Invasion.
Tukayyid & The Wolves
On Tukayyid, the 282nd was deployed 10th Army to safe guard the cities of Skupo and Brzo from Clan Wolf.
The veteran unit had only one notable action during Clan Wolf's push toward Skupo, when it deployed against Khan Natasha Kerensky's 13th Wolf Guards. The brutal action against elite action was brutal and ended in the devastation of the Division. However, the action bought enough time for rest of 10th Army Units to attempt to pull back to the fortification of Skupo.[3][4]

Notes
The 282nd is noted listed in further listings, both sourcebooks for Tukayyid mentions the unit taking heavy damage or torn apart. Its unclear as of this writing if the unit was disbanded or was outright destroyed.
