2nd St. Ives Lancers
History
Regarded as the Armored Cavalry's workhorse unit for most of its history.
Formed the SIMC mobile reserve during the St. Ives-Capellan War, broken into task forces to act as reinforcements.
Later delivered supplies and equipment across the front, and are credited with helping to keep SIMC forces in the fight.
Lost the Eighty-Fifth Armored Lancers on St. Loris to the Black May attacks (the survivors were absorbed by the Eighteenth Armored Lancers). In retaliation for Black May, the Second's Air Wing ran a successful campaign against CCAF transports on St. Loris.
