The Thirty-first Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. As a Royal unit the 31st was formed from personnel recruited exclusively from worlds within the Terran Hegemony.[2]

History

The 31st formed a part of XLVIII Corps, Seventh Army, and in 2764 was stationed on an undisclosed world within the Magistracy of Canopus Territorial State.[2]

The Thirty-first survived both the Periphery Uprising in 2765 and the Hegemony Campaign, and the division followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus.[2]
