History

Star League era

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXXI Corps, Thirteenth Army, to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1]

The Tenth provided support to the Jump Infantry Divisions of the XXXI Corps.[2] The Tenth was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]

Mercenary Service

After collapse of the Star League the survivors of the regiment made the decision to turn mercenary, forming one of the original regiments of the 12th Star Guards[3]

In 3025 the Third was under contract to the Lyran Commonwealth and stationed on Lyons along side their sister regiment the Seventh.[4]

The Fourth Wolf Guards overran the Second Battalion within minutes of landing on Icar in March 3050. Colonel Caitlin ordered a counter attack, however this faltered against the Wolf forces and the remnant of the Regiment attempted to flee the planet. Before they could reach their DropShips Elementals captured them forcing the Third to surrender.[5]
