History
The Alexander Nikolayev was an Achilles-class DropShip with the Com Guards' Terran Defense Fleet. Together with the DropShips Charleston, Jeanne D'Arc, Casablanca, Sawakaze and Trafalgar the Alexander Nikolayev went into battle against the Word of Blake's Liberation Flotilla when it attacked Terra on 28 February 3058, opposing Task Force Gold in particular. In this battle, the Alexander Nikolayev carried two Lucifer aerospace fighters. Its crew was considered veteran.
Task Force Gold consisted of the DropShips Knox, Azov, Hobart, DeGrasse, Halland, Fife and Perry. The Com Guards vessels managed to destroy approximately forty percent of Task Force Gold's ships, primarily transport vessels.[1] It is unknown if the Alexander Nikolayev survived the battle; overall, the Word of Blake forces carried the day and Terra was conquered.
