History
Alpha Galaxy was one of the first units recreated after the re-formation of Clan Wolf. They started with a single front-line Cluster and a Keshik Trinary. Two garrison Clusters were promoted to front-line status and a new Cluster of Trueborns rushed through a training program formed the last Cluster. These diverse Clusters allowed the re-formed Wolf Clan to spread elite warriors across their touman instead of hoarding them all in a single unit.[1]
In 3067 Alpha Galaxy was shifted to the Wolf/Clan Ghost Bear border.[2]
During the formation of the Wolf Empire elements of Alpha Galaxy took the Gannett system from the Free Worlds League.[3] Alpha Galaxy also participated in the assault on Tharkad[4] and defeated the Golden Ordun on Hesperus II. Prior to that, Alpha was used to launch a series of strikes into The Republic of the Sphere's Prefecture IX.[5]
Dark Age
In October 3150 elements of Alpha Galaxy landed on Pollux, facing the 2nd Fides Defenders and the XII Principes Guards. The Clan warriors used precise attacks instead of the massive, ferocious attacks that were common to Clan Jade Falcon. This allowed them to take the best Republic soldiers as bondsmen.[6]
