BattleMech

BattleMechs - the most powerful war machines ever built - dominate the battlefields of the 31st century. These huge, man-shaped vehicles are faster, more manueverable, better-armored, and more heavily armed than any other combat unit. Equipped with particle projector cannons, lasers, rapid-fire autocannons and missiles, these behemoths pack enough firepower to flatten everything but another 'Mech.

There are two classes of BattleMechs: those used primarily by the Inner Sphere, known simply as 'Mechs, and those used by the Clans - the OmniMechs.
