BattleROM

Revision as of 10:24, 29 December 2011 by Dirk Bastion (talk | contribs) (First small improvements, need to collect more infos)

The BattleROM is installed in all modern vehicles, both military and civilan. Like the Black Box used in aviation since the 20th century and the Event Data Recorder used in vehicles since the 21st century, it collects all the data that a pilot/operator has access to. It also collects other data, such as pilot condition, communications, misc vehicle performances, etc.

The data is placed on a read-only memory (ROM) computer that can survive virtually any kind of damage, from an ammo explosion to a failed orbital drop.

Some of the data that is collected can be disabled by the pilot/operator.
