Description[edit]

The BattleTroops: Kurita Machine Gun Assault Platoon is a collection of 25mm scale metal miniatures for use in BattleTroops.

From the back cover[edit]

Two soldiers of the Draconis Combine stepped through a shattered window from which only moments before a Steiner sniper had taken the life of one of their number. They hesitated in committing themselves to full view, three stories above the city street. Below, wedged between the mirror windowed skyscrapers, a dead Battlemaster lay cracked open like a dropped egg, flame and smoke billowing from the wrecked vehicle. A Kurita soldier scurried over the mech looking for the pilot while the serpent platoon searched the street for Steiner lurkers. Everybody was wary, not knowing behind which pane of glass the enemy hid. The two on the ledge concentrated on shots, wondering if they would ever hear the gun cracks over the distant reports of autocannons as mechs continued the battle in the eastern part of the city. Much closer than they thought possible, machinegun fire rattled sending Kurita diving for cover. Both directed their weapons to the sound, sending lead and a rocket in response. Explosion rocked the urban canyon and the two on the ledge ceased fire, sure they hit their mark. Nevertheless, they kept their weapons trained while a squad ran to confirm the kill. The search and the tension continued.
