The Battle of Dahlgren was a conflict that occurred somewhere in the Tamar Pact during the Third Succession War, in or around 3015. Dahlgren does not appear on the star maps, suggesting Dahlgren is a different name for a world in the same manner as Chara III/Pacifica or Norn II/Verthandi. What is known is Colby's Commandos, under contract to the Lyran Commonwealth, was forced to retreat when a Sword of Light unit dropped in their rear. This retreat forced the Commonwealth to cede a number of border worlds to the Draconis Combine.[1]

Also present at the Battle was Chu-i Zouè Berlioz-Bruun's father, a member of Duke Hassid Ricol's Red Hunter Special Operations Group[2]

Twelve years after this battle, a successful rebellion on Verthandi would see Dahlgren and other worlds in the region erupt into open fighting with Draconis garrisons as tensions still lingered from a generation before.[3]
