History
Bill Paxon was the Commander of Wolf's Dragoons Delta Regiment from 3038 to 3054.[1][2]
He saw Delta through the disaster of Murchison,[2] and helped forge a command that performed spectacularly on Luthien.[3] It was Paxon who placed the overall reputation of his regiment (and the Dragoons as a whole) ahead of any political faction by keeping them out of the crucible of Elson's Challenge.[4] Losing his position in a challenge from Shelly Brubaker did not dampen his dedication to Delta in the least, as he fought for and won the position of Brubaker's second-in-command.[5]
