Teaser text

During the War of 3039, the Silver Hawks Irregulars invaded the Lyran world of Alioth, known across the Inner Sphere for its sun guava products. They've demanded a levy from the local government, one Alioth cannot provide. The head of Taggert Itinerant has an idea for a counteroffer; now it's up to him and his Saturn harvester to provide it...

Plot summary

Unable to meet their conquerors' demands in precious ores, technology and resources, Alioth's planetary government has decided to offer them the precious sun guava harvest of an entire continent instead. Taggert, the head of Taggert Itinerant and its fleet of Saturn harvesters is assigned to bring in the harvest. That includes convincing a sect of Exituri who own one of the fields.
