The Bremond Draconis March Militia was once a home for criminals and thugs.[1] Mary Tallman made it her mission to clean up the unit, and she succeeded beyond anyone's hopes.[2]
Successions War[edit]
A DCMS raiding party landed on New Ivaarsen and quickly overpowered the planet's garrison. Only the arrival of the Bremond Draconis March Militia was able to turn the tide and liberated the planet.[3]
The unit was so well-regarded after Tallman's changes that it participated in the campaign for Galtor III, fighting several front-line Draconis Combine units to a standstill.[2]
FedCom Civil War[edit]
Many of the troops of the Bremond DMM were used to form the 1st Royal Cavaliers.[4] Later, the surviving elements of the Bremond DMM were nearly destroyed in the fighting on Tsamma.[5]
Jihad[edit]
The Bremond DMM spent the decade of the Jihad with a very high personnel turnover rate. This, combined with a lack of supplies, effectively reduced the unit to nothing more than a shadow of its former glory.
