The Caracara was an Overlord-C-class DropShip owned by Clan Jade Falcon.

Early in the desant the Falcons conquered the planet of Chaffee. Though the taking of the planet was bloodless, the populous quickly began an uprising and guerrilla war. Unprepared, the Caracara was destroyed by a kamikaze run from a civilian Planetlifter. In response, the Falcons committed the Hamilton Massacre, slaughtering all 50,000 inhabitants of the city of Hamilton.[1] An early example of the Mongol Doctrine, it set the stage for how Malvina Hazen would lead the Clan.
