Description

The Centaur is a powerful battle armor suit incorporating artillery capabilities. Despite its short range compared to usual artillery, this battle armor can bring huge firepower at cheap cost to the front, with greater mobility than a mortar squad.

Armament

The Centaur mounts a portable artillery unit, of unknown type, in a disposable backpack mount. Deployable stabilisers, linked to the knees of the suit, allow the pilot to set up into a firing position, fire, and move out with little difficulty. Powerful enough to take out light vehicles, the suit carries eight rounds of ammunition for this system.

The Centaur' also features an arm mounted laser system for personal defense.

Variants

Several field units have experimented with replacing the artillery system with more commonly available mortars.
