Charlse Svennsen was a colonel in the Rim Worlds Army during the Reunification War.

History[edit]

By 2581, Charlse Svennsen was the commander of the Fourth Amaris Dragoons, stationed on Apollo.[2]

After a detachment of the Fourth was smashed by Rift Republican Army rioters at a Diplass Technologies BattleMech plant in 2575, sparking the Republic's civil war,[3] the unit initially tried to position themselves as a neutral party hoping to seek a resolution to the conflict despite receiving enmity from both sides. After the rebel Rim Provisional Government was taken over by more hardline RRA members, the Fourth sided with First Consul Gregory Amaris and his loyalist forces, joining the Republican Guards to protect Amaris' island estate on Apollo for the rest of the war.[4] The unit would be declared combat-ineffective by the war's end in 2596, either after the liberation of the Amaris estate by forces from the Second Marik Auxiliary Corps or the ensuing assault on the remaining rebel forces in the capital city of Terra Prime.[5]
