Daggert work closely with Anson, as the Lyran/Wolf invasion of the Free Worlds League steadly tore Commonwealth apart. As invasion began to dig into the Commonwealth, Daggert repeatively tried to resign his position. Anson, continued to refuse to allow him too, threating to "resign" him into dungeon. Their relationship, which consist of yelling at one another at many points try get point across. Since Anson secretly enjoys arguing and bullying to help him think. Daggert figures this out soon on in course encounters with him.
Daggert setup various high-run and traps that Silver Hawks Irregulars were famous for during the invasion of the Commonwealth.
He had travelled from Anson's temporary capital on Atreus to Stewart, as try stay ahead of the invasion. By May 3138, after the massacrue of Helm, it became obvious that Commonwealth on verge of defeat. Anson had fallin into emotional slump, Daggert continue run operations as Captain-General would not allow others to speak to him.
Finally Daggert finally arrouse his famous anger by mentioning how world of Ariel had asked for aide from Capitain-General Jessica Marik. Anson finaly yelled his frustrations with everything in one snap. He turned Daggert told him he needed him remain with him since he was only one who told him straight true of the what was really going on. With this insight, Daggert had epiphany into how salvage victory from situation that no one would suspect. Anson at first doesn't believe him, later explains to him.
Invasion of Stewart begins in June 5th, where a Lyran & Wolf forces begin to move from south of the capital city of New Edinburgh where Anson's palace and parlimant is located.
Daggert plan called for Silver Hawks to leave few companies of their forces in the city, while remainer were order off planet to New Hope, using motorcrade leading Lyran/Wolf forces to think it was Anson escaping the planet to temporary DropShip Port on western side of the city. However, it was nice explosive trap, nearly killing Duke Vedet.
Enraged, Duke Vedet his 1st Hesperus Guard charge the place looking for Anson. All according to the plan Daggert came up with. Daggert was then ordered off planet, as he tried convince Anson to go with him and the Hawks. However, he refused, being yelled out of the place. In a almost fitting way end their time together.
Daggert left with Silver Hawks to world of New Hope. Former Silver Hawk Coalition world, there the Silver Hawks would remain mostly intact. Thou Anson died in attack on his palace, also part of Daggert plan, Anson legecy would be the Silver Hawks continues survival and contining to serve the people of House Marik.
With no government to serve, Daggert retires and in secret when he is alone toasts to memory of Anson Marik.
