Description
The Daimyo HQ was a heavy theater command unit utilized by the Draconis Combine.
The first Daimyo was fielded in 2796 at the beginning of the Succession Wars by Jinjiro Kurita, who used the vehicle during the Kentares Massacre. While the Coordinator attended executions in person, the Daimyo HQ's crew transmitted the data to ComStar representatives on the planet who then sent the data through the whole Inner Sphere. When Jinjiro discovered the treason, the whole crew of the unit was executed. Daimyo production ceased between the years 3027 and 3063 because the unit's communication system technology become a form of Lostech.[1]
Armament & Capacities
Daimyo weighted twice as much standard Mobile HQ did, sacrificing additional tonnage to increased defense capabilities and 7 tons of armor. Large laser give it serious punch on longer range, while Machine Gun secure it from infantry.[1]
Unique feature of each Daimyo are expandable sides creating large room inside the unit with holotank displaying the real-time overview of the battlefield for commander and few additional officers. Headquarter can travel with sides expanded although it's unable to achieve it's full speed.[1]
Variants
- 67-K2 - features two Particle Projector Cannons and two Machine Guns on the sides instead of top turrets. Created as an upgrade for 67-K after the year 3063. BV (2.0)=620 [3]
- 67-KR - Free Rasalhague Republic variant created about the time of K2. Features turret-mount Plasma Cannon, two forward Rocket Pods and one backward Rocket Pod. BV (2.0)=652 [4]
