Description[edit]
The Elite Series 3 tractor is, in principle, a component of the Elite 3 Series land train, as the locomotive. The tractor is designed to be a train without usage of railroad tracks. The vehicle pulls series of modules or "tracked cars" behind it.[1][2]
The company that produced the Elite Series 3 was Gienah-DuraPaq. Started as a joint venture created between Lyran Commonwealth's Gienah Automotive and the Free Worlds League's foodstuffs producing manufacture, DuraPaq Solutions, in a series of talks that began before the Third Succession War. The Elite Series 3 became successful in its principle mission, which was to provide a steady and reliable ground transport on colony worlds or worlds without any transportation infrastructure.[1][2]
Weapons and Equipment[edit]
The 200-ton vehicle is equipped with a tractor chassis modification and controls. It has quarters for four crew, with a four-person medical bay. The vehicle typically carried two additional crew members and a medic.[1][2]
The vehicle comes with a three-ton lift hoist for loading cargo into the modules (trailers). The Elite's tractor is protected by six tons of BAR 6 grade commercial armor.[1][2]
Cargo[edit]
Two tons of cargo; 1 rear door[1][2]
