Description
The Elite Series 3 Tractor is in principal a component of the Elite 3 Series Land Train, as its "engine". The Elite tractor is designed to be a train without usage of railroad tracks. The vehicle pulls series of modules or "tracked cars" behind it.[1][2]
The company that produced the Elite Series 3 was Gienah-DuraPaq. Started as a joint venture created between Lyran Commonwealth's Gienah Automotive and the Free Worlds League's foodstuffs producing manufacture, DuraPaq Solutions, in a series of talks that began before the Third Succession War. The Elite Series 3 became success in its principle mission, which was provides a steady and reliable ground transport on colony worlds or worlds without any transportation infrastructure.[1][2]
Weapons and Equipment
The 200 ton vehicle is equiped with a tractor chassis modification and controls. It has quarters for four crew quarters, with four person medical bay's. The vehicle typically carried two additional crew members and a medic.[1][2]
The vehicle comes with a three-ton lift hoist to allow for loading cargo into the modules (trailers) when it is not hooked up them. The elite's tractor is protected by six tons of BAR 6 grade commercial armor.[1][2]
