Overview
Exeter Organization is a privately held firm. It has spent most of its existence working in the communications area. Its flagship product, the Longscan communications suite, is used on several popular designs. In the mid-3060s, the Word of Blake invested heavily in the company. The increased orders allowed Exeter to expand its Keystone plant and increase its production by a factor of four. Most of the new production was sent out of the Free Worlds League to friendly manufacturers.
The company also began producing its own variant of the Pegasus hovertank at its expanded plant.[1]
In the last decade of the thirty-first century, Exeter introduced its R10 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle. This wheeled OmniVehicle combined a large infantry bay with heavy armor and weaponry.[2]
Leadership
The CEO in 3067 was Anup Tind. Persistent rumors suggest that either he or his entire firm are a shell company for Earthwerks-FWL or are owned by the Blakists. No one has been able to prove or disprove these rumors and Exeter refuses to comment, but Exeter has filed lawsuits against some of the news sources.[1]
