The Free Eagles were a small Free Worlds League-focused Republic of the Sphere splinter group active post-Blackout.
Overview[edit]
Formed and led by Vanja Matas, a former lieutenant of the VII Triarii Protectors who claimed to be an illegitimate scion of the Marik family, the Free Eagles had the support of several powerful backers in the former League states. Its goal was to build a reunified and democratic Free Worlds League with Matas as Captain-General.[1][2]
RAF intelligence was following the group by the end of 3134, while Vanja was traveling throughout Prefectures VI and VII recruiting forces.[1]
