Overview
The Magshot Gauss Rifle was a gauss rifle produced by the Federated Suns for the Infiltrator Mk II.[1] It was designed to take out light vehicles and other "soft targets" at extreme range. Almost all of these weapons were mounted on the Infiltrator Battle Armor suits or given to MI6, although a few special forces units were also equipped with them. When not mounted on an Infiltrator, the system is aimed through a telescopic sight with infrared and range-finding capabilities.
