Gordon Humphreys was a Marian Hegemony nobleman and distant cousin to the Free Worlds League family.[1]

History

Humphreys was the planetary governor of Islington in the Marian Hegemony.[1]

In 3051, his daughter Lydia gave birth to Trajan, an illegitimate son of the Hegemony's Imperator Sean O'Reilly. Mother and son were subsequently installed in a sumptuously furnished wing of the Imperial Palace on Alphard, alongside at least two other mothers of the Imperator's other children.[1]

Death

When Gordon Humphreys objected to his daughter being made a concubine, he was summoned to Alphard and executed.[1] This cowed his family enough to silence them.

His execution was mentioned in a ComStar document dated 17 January 3059, and while the context strongly implies that it happened shortly after Trajan's birth in 3051, the exact date of Gordon Humphreys's death is ultimately unknown beyond the established timeframe of 3051-3059.
