Helga Bauer was a Hanseatic League officer.
History
Captain-Marshal
Originally she was the Captain-General of Regional Defense Force 1. One of the most vocal Hanseatic Security Force officers advocating reforms in the face of the Imperio, it was no surprise when she was appointed as the first Captain-Marshal. In an twist of irony, she also forced many more mundane officers into early retirement if they proved incompetent or inflexible. With input from retired HDF personnel alongside hired professors and military advisors from the Lyran Commonwealth, she also founded the Lübeck Military Academy to train officers in place of the ones appointed by Merchant nepotism.
Retirement
Bauer would retire as Captain-Marshal in 3135. She also did not bother appointing a successor as she trusted her Captain-Generals and Admirals to make a good choice.[2]
