Foot soldiers of any established military force. Some units are permanently assigned armored vehicles and termed Mechanized Infantry. Other units are equipped with jump-packs and designated Jump Infantry. Consistently disrespected by Inner Sphere Mechwarriors, the advent of the Elemental brought infantry to the forefront once again.
