Colonel Jens Scholz was the commander of the XI Triarii Protectors, with the Republic of the Sphere, from at least 3136 to 3145.[1][2]
History[edit]
Prior to the Blackout in 3132, Scholz was a retired veteran, who had previously served with the VI Triarii Protectors. Due to the increasing unrest which followed the loss of HPG communication, he returned to service, and was commanding the XI Triarii by 3136.
At this time, Scholz started an impromptu training program, which over the years from 3136 to 3145 graduated thousands of conventional soldiers. Due to his belief in the Triarii's motto, "strength, diversity and unity", he also personally wrote academy entrance letters of recommendation for the most promising products of his training program.[2] This commitment extended to sponsoring soldiers for the Stone's Defenders, which was intended to be composed of the RAFs best academy graduates, resulting in the number of students from Scholz's programs in the Defenders rivaling those from the Sandhurst Royal Military College and Northwind Military Academy.[3]
By 3145, Scholz and the XI Triarii were based on Procyon, where they were known for conducting training exercises with any visiting RAF units.[1][2]
