History
In 3071 Hauptman Bauer was a company commander with the Third Royal Guards. He earned a reputation being a quick moving leader with precise long-range fire that could close for devastating physical attacks as the situation warranted. This reputation for success was the only thing that saved his commission when his freelancer activities with his company was discovered.[1]
Following the Jihad, Bauer was promoted to Kommandant.[2]
Bauer's precision aim is especially remarkable in combat, as he could deliver more telling strikes even when using "sand-blaster" weapons. He also demonstrated notable bravery, holding the line when others might run.[2]
BattleMech
Bauer piloted a Banshee which was retrofitted to match the configuration of his personal hero, Solaris VII dualist Victor Vandergriff.[2]
