Legate Jonathan Jurik was the Planetary Legate of Towne, for the Republic of the Sphere, from at least 3130 to 3133.[1][2][3]
History[edit]
HPG Siege[edit]
From 6 to 16 November 3132, the Towne HPG was subject to siege by supporters of the Dragon's Fury. At the request of Governor Renee Oscar, Legate Jurik violently lifted the siege on the 16th, commanding an assault which dislodged the occupiers of the HPG.[4][5]
New Defense Forces[edit]
On 5 February 3133, in response to attacks on other Republic worlds, Governor Oscar and Legate Jurik announced the formation of the Towne Defense Force, an expanded planetary militia, and placed Daman Zibler in command as General.[6] In August 3133 this was augmented by an announcement from Legate Jurik, that Towne had hired additional mercenary support, being an element of the 21st Centauri Lancers.[7]

- Jurik is noted as Governor rather than Legate in one source,[1] swapped with the individual otherwise named as Governor by other sources.[2] As the Dark Age: Republic Worlds (3130) listing of Republican planetary governors and legates is generally relied upon by other canon sources such as Dark Age: 3132-3134 INN over the one in Dark Age: Republic of the Sphere its information has similarly been preferred as correct for the purposes of this article.
