Dr. Katherine Piscalla was a gifted military scientist hired by the Harvard Company in 2688 to refine the process of the WSP-105 LAM's hydraulic conversion system. Within 2 years, Dr. Piscalla and her team of engineers were able to devolop a Wasp LAM that passed field testing for the Star League Defense Force. Dr. Piscalla was eventually assassinated at a corporate resort on La Blon in 2690. Although no evidence was ever uncovered at the time, many believe the assassination was funded by Lexa Tech Industries, as they were in direct competition with their STG-A5 Stinger LAM.
