History

Formed from former students of the Lexington Military Academy during the Exodus of the SLDF. Formed on Bryant the unit worked during the Successions war all Successor states. A huge part of this work was done for the Federated Suns and only the help of AFFC enabled the Brigade to hold the edge in the 3040. The technology renaissance was a problem for every mercenary. The prizes for equipment replacement skyerocket and the AFFC give older machines for at low cost to them. The group is part of the bulwark against any capellan agression.

Officers

Major General Malcolm Feinman lead the Combat Group. The new commander is selected through the decision of three councils (1 Officers, 1 middle Level officers, 1 of non-commised) as check and balance.

Composition

The unit contains in 3067 3 regiments each with its own conventionel forces support

Forces

  • Every Battlemech regiment is support through a fighter wing, infantry and armor units with integrated Dropship assets.
  • Special organizational strutucre for Combat Group:
1 Battlemech regiment
1 fighter wing
2 heavy armor battalions
2 mechanized infantry battalions
1 aviation battalion
1 artillery battalion
  • evey soldier is trained in combined arms tactics


Support

  • superior than other mercs
  • depends on DQ of AFFC (gives price breaks to them)
