History
Ferrel participated in one of McCormack's Fusiliers most famous engagement, the conquest of the Free Worlds League world of Bellatrix, despite the defending Ajax's Avengers outnumbering the Fusiliers by a factor of three to one. The Fusiliers instead made an audacious attack on the planet, using a combination of ferocity and superior tactics to smash the Avengers and force them to retreat, until they were forced to stand and fight in the east of Bellatrix's southern continent.
During the final destruction of the Avengers, Lieutenant-Colonel Ferrel led the Second Battalion of the Fusiliers from the Command Lance of its First Company, and quickly finished off his enemies.[1]
