Usually, a Lysander will carry four fighter-type aircraft squadrons, either aerospace or VSTOL-capable conventional types, and a single [[VTOL]] squadron, including search-and-rescue and early warning types. Aircraft are stored in thirty fighter bays, while takeoff/landing is provided for by six [[helipad]]s.<ref name=TROVAr/> Weapons on the Lysander includes eight [[ER large laser]]s and six [[ER medium laser]]s mounted on a single turret.
