Foreign-Language Editions

German

A German version was published twice by FanPro, first in 1990 under the name GeoTech. This printing of the map set included the four original maps, four plastic paper clips and a rulebook containing excerpts from the BattleTech Manual rulebook. The expanded 1993 version of Map Set 2 with four additional maps was released as GeoTech I.

Finnish

A Finnish version was published in 1992 by PRO-Games as Karttasetti 1 ("Map Set 1") with the product code PRO-501. It included the six cardboard maps of the 1989 reprinting as well as six plastic paper clips. The cover has artwork unique only to this release plus Finnish translations of the map names and mentions that all maps are of a large size and printed in four colors in the USA. This release of the map set cost 90 Finnish mark at the time of its release.
