Description
MechWarrior: Firepower Booster Pack is a booster pack for MechWarrior: Firepower, which is an expansion to the MechWarrior: Dark Age collectable miniatures game.
This expansion introduced the second collection of miniatures for use within the MechWarrior: Age of Destruction version of the game (and the eighth collection of miniatures within the game overall). This expansion had blind booster packs, but no dedicated starter sets. Starter sets for MechWarrior: Dark Age or MechWarrior: Age of Destruction served as an introduction to the base game, with the latter being a more complete intoduction to the rules current at that time. In terms of factions, the collection advertised the introduction of House Kurita and an increased presence of House Davion and House Steiner. The ultra-rare 'Mech in this set was also a preview of the next new faction. This expansion introduced mission cards which supplied additional victory conditions.
Contents
Each booster pack includes:
- 4 randomly inserted MechWarrior miniatures: 1 'Mech, 1 vehicle, and 2 infantry units
- 1 gear card
- 1 pilot card
- 1 random card (either a planetary condition card, faction pride card, or mission card).
Complete Collection
For information on the collections/sets of miniatures for MechWarrior: Dark Age and its expansions, see MechWarrior: Dark Age Sets (Collections).
There are 83 different figures available (24 infantry, 24 vehicles, 20 non-Unique 'Mechs, 8 Unique 'Mechs, plus 7 units with special rarity.). Note: For non-Unique units, there existed multiple corresponding figures that differed in terms of faction and rank (e.g., Green, Veteran, Elite). Each unit in this set was marked with the Firepower Set Symbol.
