Melissa Auburn was a Lyran Commonwealth historian and author of The Black Widow: In Memoriam, a book that would top best seller lists for over a year.[1]

- Melissa Auburn is probably one of historian Misha Auburn's six younger siblings who have not been named. She may have been named after Melissa Steiner, who was born in 3010, a year after Misha. (Thelos Auburn and later Misha Auburn served as House Steiner's official court historians in their respective times.)
