Captain Michael Mercier was an officer in Wolf's Dragoons who was serving as the commander of Mercier's Company of Baker Battalion in Epsilon Regiment as of 3028.[1]

History
Mercier was, off the battlefield, infamous for his tardiness at staff meetings, dates and social functions. This failing impacted his stormy romantic relationship with Captain Danielle Rondema of Beta Regiment, with arguments between the two have been known to awaken entire regiments.
The timing of his ambushes and raid in combat however were often impeccable.
Mercier fought in the Battle of Misery in 3028, where he was one of the few officer to keep his Command Lance intact, despite the heavy fighting. After Misery his Command Lance became the Assault Lance of Epsilon Regiment's Second Provisional Company, as part of which he went on to also fight in the Fifth Battle of Harrow's Sun. He ultimately did not survive to leave Harrow's Sun, being one of the Dragoon's casualties from that battle.
