Nagayan Mountain Castle Brian was a Star League Defense Force base constructed on Helm.[1] It famously held the Helm Memory Core, a field library. Its primary value to the SLDF, though, was in its supply capacity. The SLDF's Quartermaster Corps kept a major supply cache at the base, though their insistence that it was for emergencies only caused friction with VII Corps around 2750, as they were already having supplies rerouted to troops in the Periphery.[1] The base was one of the Star League's largest munition dumps, with one of the greatest concentrations of tactical nuclear weapons of any SLDF base.[2]
