Neil Gibson was a MechWarrior in the Black Widow Company's Recon Lance of Wolf's Dragoons under commanding officer Stacy Church.[1]

History

Born on Outreach. Neil's Trial of Position took the form of the Second Battle of Harlech; he was the only survivor among his sibkin. After this incident Neil joined the same resistance cell as fellow future Black Widow Company member Francine; It was with this resistance group that he met Stacy Church and joined the re-formed Black Widow Company.[1]

Personal description

Neil Gibson is a bold pilot that drives his 'Mech as if it were a much larger machine. He has taken up the habit of referring to Stacy Church only in the third person in imitation of original Black Widow Company member Colin Maclaren.[1]

The date tattooed on his shoulder above the Dragoons insignia — October 18, 3067 — is the day Jaime Wolf died in the Blakist-sponsored invasion of Outreach.

BattleMechs

During the Second Battle of Harlech Neil and his sibkin piloted Chameleons. He moved on to a salvaged Firefly that was originally a Home Guard unit. In honor of the 'Mech's service he has kept the original name of Jaime.[1]
