==Description==
Named for the figure responsible for putting Aegeus on the throne in Athens in classical mythology, the '''Nisos Attack Vehicle''' fits into the gap between typical scout units and dragoon units. Manufactured by the Quikscell Company in their plant on [[Ares (system)|Ares]], Quikscell deliberately courted those responsible for acting as advanced reconnaissance forces. As a consequence, crew comfort was a high priority; the driver and gunner benefit from comprehensive control systems built to ultramodern ergonomic standards, while the commander's station was unusually comfortable and spacious.<ref name="TRO:3145CCp10+"/>

Moving at an impressive top speed of over one hundred and fifty kilometers per hour, the Nisos was protected by a full six tons of [[Heavy Ferro-Fibrous]] armor; in addition to the thought that went into the advanced ergonomic design of the interior of the vehicle, Quikscell also designed the weapon bays to be modular in design, reducing maintenance time and support requirements while allowing the Nisos to perform extended deployments.<ref name="TRO:3145CCp10+"/>

The Nisos mounted a [[Ceres Arms Crusher]] [[plasma rifle]] and a [[Harpoon-6]] [[SRM-6]] Launcher in the vehicle's single turret; two tons of ammunition for the plasma rifle were stored inside the body of the vehicle, along with a ton of ammunition for the SRM Launcher.<ref name="TRO:3145CCp10+"/>
