History[edit]
The Orphan's Hope was a Monolith-class JumpShip operated by Lyran authorities in the thirty-second century. It was choosen by the system's leaders to attempt to cross the Wall and demand the Republic of the Sphere authorities explain why they had abandoned the world. It carried several DropShips, including Union, Overlord and Leopard with heavy military forces.
Jumping from Yorii on 18 August 3136, it "bounced" against the wall and returned 6 September, smashed, with the starboard part of the ship intact and the rest of the ship mangled. An injured crewmember, Derrick, managed to made a transmision to another JumpShip that was expecting them before dying.[1]
