Description
The Peacekeeper SWAT Carrier VTOL is a product from Yan Manufacturing of New Samarkand. A LAW owned company, Yan Manufacturing tried number of designs before hitting on the mission-specific vehicle design of the Peacekeeper, which was created to transport a platoons-worth of SWAT Police troops into situations and be able to provide fire support.[1]
Armament & Capacities
The Peacekeeper is fitted with a Fusion Engine to allow for quiet operations and carries 3.5 tons worth of BAR 10 Grade Commercial armor, allowing it to resist modern military weapons fire.
The Peacekeeper’s main armament is a Shigunga six-tube Short-Range Missile Launcher with a single ton of ammunition; SWAT forces have been known to use tear gas rounds for the SRM launcher during riot duty. It is also armed with a pair of Machine Guns mounted to the front of the VTOL with the SRM launcher. It sports an Advanced Fire Control system to give the craft military grade precision targeting of its weapons.
It also has two Search Lights mounted on the right and left sides of the aircraft.
Cargo
The Peacekeeper is designed around its Infantry compartment which can hold a single Jump Platoon, but also has 2 tons of cargo space available for other equipment needed for missions. The doors for both the Infantry and Cargo compartments are found in the rear of the craft.
Notes
The craft features the armored chassis and control modifications. As of this writing, there is no published record sheet for this vehicle.
