MechWarrior Phil Garcia was a member of the Command Lance, Beaver's Reavers Company of the Seventh Crucis Lancers as of 2766.[1]
History
In February 2766 the Beaver's Reavers including Garcia, due to being misidentified while chasing bandit raiders under radio silence on Mirach, were accidently engaged by Terran Hegemony Baroness Jade Sandowski and her personal unit the Jade's Rangers.
In the engagement the better experienced and equipped Rangers defeated the Lancers. The accidental conflict caused larger disputes between the two sides for months afterwards.[1]

Garcia piloted a BJ-1 Blackjack BattleMech.[1]
Notes
- The Seventh Crucis Lancers were officially not formed until 2784, from a Star League Defense Force unit which did not join Kerensky's Exodus.[2] It therefore is unclear if the name of the unit recorded as participating in this earlier engagement as the Seventh Crucis Lancers is incorrect, or if it is a predecessor unit of the same name.
